Mantis and I had an ultra chill and relaxed morning, drinking coffee, making breakfast and stretching. Jenna was busy packing things up and I offered to help her vacuumed her huge red carpet because it seemed like it would be a satisfying job to see it all clean (and I’m sure it would be helpful to her).
In the afternoon Mantis and I went down the road to do a wine tasting. It was only two miles down from Jenna’s house so we’d figure we’d walk. Upon leaving the house we soon regretted our decision. It was nearly 100 degrees and a fast and winding road with not much shoulder. We immidatley started to try to hitch and saw one of her neighbors leaving and stuck our thumbs up. It was a young couple and they offered to give us a ride given we could squeeze. They were heading to a concert and also going to do a wine tasting but at a different spot but then they decided they would just do the wine tasting with us at that spot. We had a table together and had a fun little double date during the wine tasting.

After we went to the park where our friends, Rocky, Kiki, Trouble, Bin Chicken, Fish Fry and others were hanging out. Later Bushwhack, Toro and Dapper joined and we had a birthday party for Bushwhack.

The next day we had some breakfast then took care of some chores. Most of the group hiked out that day but Mantis, Fish Fry and I spent another day in Ashland. Ashland is home of the Shakespeare festival so Mantis and I went to see a play, “The Merry Wives of Windsor” in the evening. Mantis and I had some pre play Margaritas at a roof top bar then went to the play. It was hard to follow at first but ended up being a very good and funny play. They put some modern spins on classical Shakespeare and had two strong female leads!
